The Timber House

Welcome to The Timber House, a custom built, retreat style, family home rich in amenities. Enjoy the private swim spa, putting green, wellness and workout area, infrared sauna, upscale living and recreation space.

Located one hour north of Minneapolis/St. Paul.

Our home is equipped with very fast internet and a private office, making it easy for guests to work remotely if desired. 

We allow dogs (not other pets) on the property; however we require that guests pay a $100 non-refundable pet fee. We expect that you will clean up after your dog and let us know of any incidences. Absolutely no wet/muddy dogs are allowed in the house.

Relax on the back patio with swim spa, lounge chairs, outdoor shower, putting green, fire pit, grill, and more. Our spring fed pond is swimmable and even has a beach to use.

Enjoy luxury amenities like in-floor heating as well as a tiled, steam shower. We allow guests to use our wood fireplace for cozy evenings and expect you will use it responsibly. Locally cut firewood is on site and available for use.

This home is handicap accessible.

Take a stroll through the woods or along the fields with marked walking trails for your enjoyment. 

A winding driveway leads back to the secluded house. Due to the weather in MN, please be prepared for winter travel when coming to and from our cabin. We make sure the driveway to the cabin is plowed for you but cannot guarantee how the roads leading there will be. We are located off of a county road.
